I've been reading the comments, and they really brought me back to earth. I am ashamed to share this nation with the right wing lunatic fringe that posts here. These are the people that gave us Timothy McVeigh. This country has been on the skids since Reagan. We are finally getting it turned around. I guess part of being an american is having to listen to the nastiness of Limbaugh and company. Like Obama said in the campaign, "These people are proud of being ignorant." They are borderline antisocial. They are very close to having a criminal mentality. Why america produces such people is a good question. We have five times more people behind bars per capita than the world average. Our closest ally (Israel) routinely commits war crimes. Time will tell what happens to us. One thing about right wingers is that they are good at climbing back under the rock they climbed out from under. They'll come back around again, however. Compassion fatique is a part of the human condition. Eventually we will once again give in to their self centered way, and america will spiral down into economic collapse all over again.
